Well, there's not a
lot to tell...but I'll do my best.
I'm originally from Nova Scotia, Canada.
Yep....waaaaayyy up North. Except that it's not as cold as some people
might think...our
weather is a lot like the weather in the New England states. So no igloos,
no polar bears, no icebergs...but we do have lots of seagulls, lighthouses,
and beaches.
So
why did I move to Kansas City? I wanted to.
Thus
far it's been great.
So...as
for the rest of the bio (can you tell I have a hard time writing these?):
I'm
an DJ, amateur web/graphic designer, illustrator/cartoonist, musician,
anime freak and g33k extrordinaire.
For
those that might remember the older site (www.bloodstoned.org) and the
content within regarding me...that no longer exists, nor does the person
who wrote that site. I suppose I helped myself get over that part of my
life and have moved on to bigger and better things. For those that
never saw the older site...suffice it to say it was at a point in my
life when I needed something else other than myself to get along. But
I'm feeling MUCH better now >:)
Despite
what some might say, I do like to life a drama-free life, but it's
kinda hard to escape it when you spend a lot of your time online. I
do my
best to just be a spectator and not
join in...but I'll admit sometimes it's entertaining in that weird, Hitchcockian
kind of way...kinda like being there when a fight breaks out in a bar and
you know you should run for cover, but you want to see who gets the worst
of it. :)
I
consider myself a friendly sort, and someone easy to get along with. I
love a good laugh and to make people laugh (hence my joining a comedy
sketch troupe recently).
One
thing I don't really like to get into is politics, be they with the government
or the personal kind. Unfortunately, they're hard to avoid...and most times,
with personal politics comes drama. But such is life. I suppose I just
would love to have people in groups where there are a lot of politics to
get along...or at least TRY to.
Something
else I have a pet peeve with: masks. The masks people hide behind to impress
others. I think it's always best to just be yourself. This also deals with
the change to the site and my own personal changes. I am myself now...the
real me. And I'd like to think it's not too much to expect the same
from other people.
But
that's just my opinion :)
There
will be more written here when I think of it. Maybe a rant or two,
depending. |
